I have checked my bilble, I cannot find or trace christmas, and the celebrants allude to christianity and bible to back up their celebration. So I ask, Is Christmas backed by God???

The date of Xmas coincides with the pagans celebration of the winter solace. I guess as a Christian, the importance is the symbolism of Xmas, more than the actual date or time. Though it was widely hypothesised that Jesus was born in March. I am afraid until he comes again, we have no means of knowing for sure. N.B the symbolism of Xmas from a biblical point of view is the fulfilment of God's promise to man. When the Word takes the form of man and becomes the son of man, who will smite the snake on the head. so do you think this symbolism is backed up by God?

It's the pagan festival of Saturnalia that was hijacked by early Christianity.
