Face to face with a new year

Now that the holidays and the revelry is over, it seems like we have to face the new year, I won't greet you with a happy one, a lot did that already but rather the reality or the spectre of a new one
Your plans? Bills to pay, health and family issues? Guess we all have to face it and the good side of planning to make this a better year and learn from the past. Two days now to the new year and hope all of us are doing fine and on the right track towards a better one. So how you doing? Anything you want to share?

i hope you had a great new year celebration. i tried taking pictures of the fireworks with my phone but the results are laughable!

We had a great time as I'm sure all Filipinos did cause its part of our tradition, I did take photos of our fireworks even when it sort of rained. Btw my photo is just a Gif image that I uploaded

@hereandthere think there would be common places to view them unlike the practice where everyone does it on their own.

The next couple of months will be very challenging dealing with winter, snow, cold, etc. But we will put on a brave face and still enjoy each day.

I did not have any resolutions but I goaled for "savings" this year. I hope that I can money. And to interact with family more often.

@louievill Off course the bills are there as usual, but I had a break. I was able to get my electricity bill reduced from commercial to residential...a difference of 800.00 TT off. I now pay 250.00 there abouts. So, that's one blessing.
