Do you have insomnia?

January 3, 2017 5:43am CST
I fell asleep at midnight and woke up three and I can't sleep. This isn't normal for me, but I wonder if it's normal for others.

This has been happening to me since I stopped working. I have trouble falling asleep and then wake up several times per night. Because of this I feel like I am so tired all of the time! I have tried talking to my doctor but I am also seeing him for back pain and he wants to focus on that first.

Yikes! Hopefully your sleep cycle corrects itself, and your back pain gets better.

@Kehsiba in the post, I said it'a not normal for me. I think it's going to be a one night thing. If it was normal, I would definitely take care of it because I love sleep.

I don't have insomnia. I have no problem falling asleep and staying asleep but I am a very restless sleeper. I didn't know how restless until I got my Fitbit and it tracks my sleep. I apparently wake up several times during the night and every night so far I have been restless over 20 times. I don't even remember waking up.

I think it's cool that Fitbits can track sleep. I want to invest in one soon.

@queenofcats caffeine does not work for me at all! I can drink a pot of coffee and still be fine to fall asleep.
