My place is red hot!

Hi Mylot! Alright, I borrowed inspiration for my headline from a song called "Red Hot" wherein the crooner claims that his gal is "Red hot" while proclaiming that the listener's gal "aint doodly squat"... lol.  It just fits.  I am on the second floor of a 3 story apartment building.  And it is blistering in here.  I don't know what the people on 3 do.  I usually only turn on the heat when the temps reach -0.  It doesn't need it otherwise.  I find the trickiest temps are right around freezing, or 32 degrees F.  It is nearly 80 in here and yet too brisk to open the windows for long.  Needless to say I do not have my heat on. I don't know if It's because this building is well insulated, if it's because I'm directly above the furnace, or if it's because there are a lot of older people in here and older folk typically like it a little warmer.  Maybe a combination.  But I would rather be too warm than too cold. Enjoy the song!
Released September 30, 1957 as a single (Red Hot/Pearly Lee) on the Sun label (Sun 277). Musicians: Billy Lee Riley (vocal) and the 'Little Green Men': Rolan...

Isn't it a fun old tune? The weather has turned colder again... so I will actually have the heat on, but not much

1957? Geeeze, I remember that song well, must be getting old. We keep out place at 67 in the summer and 69 in the winter, cooling off to 62 at night. We don't like it too warm. It is 29 outside now.

@FayeHazel Definitely, that is why we cool it down to a chilly 62.

I love this song... lol aw well, but you had the cool music then compared with what is considered modern music now. Do you find it easier to sleep when it's cooler? A lot of people say that.

It can be hard to adjust the heat and cooling sometimes. It is going to be scorcher here today so we have the house shut up. We don't usually need to run the air-conditioning but I have the fan on in this room.

@FayeHazel No, no - you've got it all wrong! It's very funny to think it is winter 'over there'.

I don't blame you for holding out - I dislike AC -- so funny to think it is summer in other parts of the world at this time

I remember when I was living in an apartment in Minneapolis and it was so hot in the apartment I had to open a window to make it less hot in there and this was in winter.
