Human immortality , a thing which a human can only imagine , but what if someday scientists discover a portion or a medicine which can direct human to its immortality.it is an unimaginable situation , but some of its effects would be overgrown population , extreme growth of crime , violence and other bad activities

we aren't immortal currently but do have an ageing population due to better standards of living. That is already causing problems in some social services. Humans being immortal would be absolutely a bad thing unless we were able to populate other planets.

There would need to be very strict controls over childbirth, but even then any birth would still add to the population.

even today laws exist regarding child birth but laws can be violated and in my opinion this kind of situation will not be beneficial for the human race.
