The only thing

The only thing that actually helps me sleep is warm tea with milk. I was feeling unwell last night and made some raspberry leaf tea and put some milk into it because I knew I wanted to go to bed early because I have things to do today. When I was a baby if my mom saw my bottle was nearly empty she would pour some of her tea in so I still had something and apparently I loved it. I still do. I don't take my iced tea with milk but when I know I want to sleep I take hot tea with milk. My mom doesn't understand how I could enjoy it. I don't know! It just is something I really enjoy and it also makes me sleepy.

It is interesting. I never have tea with milk. I just add milk in coffee.

I wouldn't want to drink this, but if it helps you, it's fine.

@DesirousDreamer Fruit tea doesn't appeal to me. I prefer black leaf tea (Darjeeling mixed with Earl Grey). Now you know.

Maybe it relaxes you so you feel so sleepy after drinking warm tea with milk.

It makes me sleepy. Straight up hot milk doesn't make me tired and tea doesn't make me tired but the mixture of the two does.

Funny how you mom would pour tea in your milk when you were a baby and you loved it. I guess you got the taste for it early. I am not a tea drinker but I am glad you found what helps you sleep.

My mom and I are tea addicts. I like cold tea better than hot, but tea is tea haha

Why not warm tea? I have ice cold milk before bed. Sure helps me.
