I joined here maybe 5 months ago and in that time I met so many great people and been a part of so many interesting conversations. There are many wonderful people here who are here because they enjoy it. Who check in each day because they care about other members and what is going on in their lives and to share and be a part of this community.
This site is not all about the money to me and never has been. There are so many people who have touched me and who I care about. I sign in each day because I care. That $ sign is not what it is all about to me. Yes the money is nice but it makes me sad to think for some people that is all that matters. There is always room for new people but all I ask is give this a place a chance before you judge.
I am off to bed now....take care. I will chat with you all tomorrow.

I agree. The few dollars I get is fine, but I would still interact on here even if I didn't get paid. In this virtual community, I think we do become friends.

If they stop paying who will you interact with? This did happen earlier and the field was empty. And all those who said that they would be at myLot even if myLot did not pay were the first ones to vanish

@allknowing That's interesting. I guess the little bit of reward keeps most people on myLot and you can't very well interact with only yourself!

People who misrepresent this as an earning site cause others to get disappointed. I admit to coming here to earn but I was captured by the interaction. Quality writiers? I think many of us could be, but we also can be quality friends.

I am grateful for what I do earn and while I wish it was a little more it's still not the most important thing to me. I am not able to get that because of my health issue and I love sites like this because it's a wonderful way to meet so many people that I otherwise probably would never know about.

I log in the site almost daily because I want to read everyone's thoughts about a wide range of topics and experiences.The money is good and is something that I'd want to keep. If there was no money involved, I'd still show up here and talk with everyone that I can.

I am with you I have been here 6 years and have met some great people some of them are not here any longer and a few are. I am like you I am not here for the money but it is nice I am here for the friendship of all my mylot friends.

i read a lot of responses and comments under posts and sometimes i'm surprised by the reactions i read from people that i like and thought i knew by now. i guess it happens when you come from all over the world.

well money mattering is often a matter of need, there are some on here where every penny can make or break them, because they are surviving in poverty. That being said, money posts arent a good way to MAKE money on here

I'd say the majority come for the earnings then some go and some stay.
Some stay for the earnings as it is a trusted site and some stay because they get more out of it than the money.
I always find it a bit of a shame as soon as a bigger paying site comes along the activity level here drops (tinycent) then when that site goes down they're back on here.
I know money means a lot more to some than others but how about some loyalty

Its so shameful of me to think that I was really happy to finally find a site like this. Because its not just i spend valuable times browsing the internet but because I can be able to write and earn.
I wont deny my intentions of writing and at the same time, earning. Because this will still help me big time. I work hard to earn. But anyway, this is enlightening.

I am glad you are here and I am glad that you are earning. You are putting a lot of hard work into it and your earnings will reflect that. You will also get to meet many wonderful people because you are interacting and having fun. Keep up the good work. Some people will complain about how little they make but they don't put in the work needed to earn. Glad you are enjoying your time here.
