Finally leaving the 9-5 grind

I've finally conquered my fear and decided to quit my day job. I felt I've had enough of the 9-5 grind and so last month I made my decision and finally submitted my resignation letter to my boss. I feel very excited but at the same a little worried. I haven't save much so I'm hoping I'll have an online gig soon.
Anyone here who just quits his or her job as well? Would like to know your thoughts.

I am not quitting my job, but I am taking time off and waiting for a problem to be solved before going back to work. If I choose not to go back then I will take all my leaves before resigning... But then Money will be an issue if I choose to quit so I hope I will not need to choose my last option.

@atoz1to10 thank you for your comment. I just resigned my job for 13 years, I've no desire of looking for a new at this stage.

What sort of online gigs are you looking for?
Personally I feel like you should have had the online stuff lined up before leaving the job.. Do you have a back up plan for paying your bills?
I have quit a few jobs, but my husband works and I spent a few years at home with the kids, so I knew when I quit those jobs that we'd be okay on his money.
Now of course we've added a few more bills so we would not be okay if I quit my job. I'd definitely need to have something else lined up if I quit.

Best of luck to you. I hope you find what you are looking for online. I could never quite my job unless I had another to go to. It would make too much stress worrying about money.
