7 ways to Inspire someone else

There are many ways to inspire someone else. The first thing I do is check my motive. I always ask myself why am I doing whatever the deed is? Do I want to be seen as the good person or is the motive coming from a pure heart. I then look at the circumstance and see what could help the person or make them smile. 1. I rarely ask " how can I help"? 2. I always try to go beyond the task, if I buy groceries for the family, I pick a large family. 3. I enjoy seniors (those 65 and older) I kinda adopt one or two and check on them, most do not have family nearby. I may make a dish, or take them to breakfast. 4. I often hear of children who parents are having difficulty taking care of them. I will go buy new clothes for the children 5. If I hear of a person who has recently had a loved one to die. I stay in touch with them for a least a year. I sometimes send cards, go by the house if possible, remember when the loved one died and show up with a gift, just let them know I am here to listen. I rarely say a lot because sometimes there are no words, kindness goes further than words sometimes. 6. I hear of jobs a lot in my community. If I know others are looking I try to connect to see how I can get them in with the gatekeeper. 7. I do birthday celebrations for my closest loved ones. I like to do presents, cake and ice cream. Sometimes, I can see the joy on their face because all of them are adults but the childlike love shines when they are celebrated. I believe we can all inspire others. How do you inspire others?

@1creekgirl, Thank you for kind words. You are far to generous with your words. I have learn a lot from watching others and with all my human strength I ask the Lord to help me and guide me. I know one day I will have to stand before God, the Father and I hope to hear well done, thy good and faithful servant, enter in. To answer your question I am a servant of the living God.
