Someone Screamed at Me

I love my raptor, Orville the osprey, but he can be very annoying at times. He has a big, loud mouth! Yesterday, he flew back and forth to get my attention and screamed at me. He saw me at my desk trying to myLot in peace and quiet. I had to open my window to tell him how pretty he was. Several times as a matter of fact. It was extremely breezy, too. He must have been satisfied and flew away. I was left picking up papers, mail, and a pen that blew off my desk when I had the window open.

Not many people can sat that they have a bird like that screaming at them for attention. Thank goodness his leg is ok now.

@DianneN I don't know, I really need to plan something soon! I have a lot of weekend things planned for the next 3-4 weeks, and then in mid-February I will be moving to a new place, so it would have to be sometime in March before I could even think of heading down there. How long will you be there?

@DianneN I'm sure I'd love it if an Osprey were hanging around my windows. We have a heron nearby, I catch glimpses of him every so often.

Lucky you! This boy has attached himself to me. He peeks into my lanai, shows me his catch of the day, and hovers over me at the pool. He and Mrs. Orville fly by my third floor window (there are 4) and look at me at my desk. But I love him!

He's my pet down here, kind of. He has taken a liking to me. He shows me his fish, hovers over me at the pool when called, peeks in my window and lanai, comes when I call him, etc. He amazes me! Love that boy, but he always makes me drop whatever I'm doing!!!

He's the only one of the ospreys here who chirp, sing, and whistle, but all of them are supposed to. He is very loud!!!

I'm so happy he recovered. He returned healthy on New Year's Eve day!!! We had to turn our a/c on last night. It was 75 at 11:00PM! Gorgeous today. I love Florida in the winter!!!

Yes, after several days of being gone and me thinking the worst, he showed up as if nothing happened. It was wonderful to see him. He is still yapping and chirping away like crazy and just stopped by with his sons for the third time today.

That Herc should be acknowledged. Is his wool, hair, whatever it's called growing back? Yes, I was so relieved when he returned well from his injury days later. I was miserable until I saw him.
