No CGI Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher recently died of a cardiac arrest and there had been speculation that CGI would be used to recreate her in Episode IX. She appears in Episode VIII, and had finished filming for it, but was supposed to appear in the next one. Using CGI to recreate her has been ruled out. Which, given that Peter Cushing was recreated for Rogue One, really boils down to "too soon." Cushing died in 1994 - I guess 20+ years is considered to be an adequate interval.
The producers behind Star Wars say they will not digitally recreate the late Carrie Fisher's likeness in future episodes of the film franchise. In July, "Star Wars: Episode VIII" wrapped up shooting with Fisher reprising her role as the character initially

@just4him It does make you wonder if there are any actors from the past that you'd like to see in new films/programmes.

Artist should have a contract that includes what they want in case they pass away plus where the proceeds should go.
