Pumpkin's positive post: Baron Von Rockula Shared My Blog!

Let me start by explaining who I mean by Baron Von Rockula. Baron Von Rockula is a character in a stage show. The show was written by, directed by, and starred Steve Steinman, who first found fame as a Meat Loaf tribute act on Stars in their Eyes (a British talent show from when such things were still entertaining). Steinman went on the take The Meat Loaf Story on tour before writing Vampires Rock and, subsequently, Vampires Rock Ghost Train. Well, my love of his shows began around 15 years ago (possibly longer). My big sister and I have been enjoying them every year (with the possible exception of one year). Anyway, we went to see Vampires Rock Ghost Train with my big son, Midi, and my other half, D. I have a WordPress website. I write various things on the blog, including reviews. I just so happened to write a review of the show. I shared it on various social media. My sister shared it on social media. She shared it with a Vampires Rock group page. Mr. Steinman himself shared it from there on to his personal Facebook page and requested that others share it. He said it was a 'great' review. Of course, it is of benefit to Steinman and the shows to share positive reviews. I am still quite flattered, though, that he thought it a good enough tribute to promote. So, basically, the star of my favourite stage show has shared and promoted my blog about his show. That makes me feel rather good. It was particularly nice today as I'd not been feeling well, so it certainly perked me up when @dorypanda told me about it. That, then, is another thing to add to my list of good things, of things of which I'm proud, and of things that make me happy. What has been the proudest moment of your life? What has made you happy today? And have you been so happy about something that, at least for a moment, it made you forget about something bad or made you actually feel better?

Well, the proudest moment of my life was my son and daughter being born. Other than that I have to say that having back stage passes to a KISS concert was a great thing. The only thing with that was that my cousin had the passes, I was sick with the flu and he did not tell me until the next day. So it was exciting to know about it but a bummer that I never got to go. I would have went sick and all if I only knew about the passes. They are still my favorite rock band.

They are one of my favourites too. Crazy Nights is one of the songs in Vampires Rock :) I know it's annoying to find out that you could have done something after the fact. But still, it's nice to feel excited and happy for other people.

@pumpkinjam I hear you on that. I still regret that night even after all these years. But there is nothing I can do about it now.

Well, my son makes me proud a lot, but for me myself and I, I have to say that one of my proudest moments was when a short story of mine got retweeted by a publishing company who publishes short stories. I'm also proud of my middle little sister. :)

Many congratulations to you! That is awesome! I was thrilled having dinners and partying with celebrities, newscasters, a punter for the New York Giants, and a pop singer. Madonna was at my granddaughter's figure skating event and I spoke with Ivanna Trump who sat next to me on a plane. I'm easily star struck. Lol! My proudest moments were becoming a grandparent and my husband getting his doctorate degree. Actually, I've had a lot of proud moments, especially of my children and grandchildren.

That's great. Congratulations on writing such a great review that it was thought worthy of sharing.
