What is your view of what the future holds out to mankind?

Some say a nuclear holocaust will destroy mankind, and many believe that walking dead zombies will take over the earth. Others feel that cyber attacks and chemical warfare will destroy the earth and that all life upon it will be no more. What do you think or what have you been told or taught about the future of the world and earth?

@snowdiamond what is your basis for believing that? Do you feel the future will be where all humans will have worth and security? I do.

Don't worry. The kiddies won't be allowed to destroy the classroom. What we have here is sauce for the goose. It's not through cooking just yet. We all have the power to choose what we deem important. We can choose to value doom and gloom or we can choose to value the goodness in the world. As a whole, the world is getting better. On the other hand, the only news one hears is the bad. Perhaps the bad is more exciting because it gets one's attention. Start seeing the good and you will not worry. As mankind grows in knowledge so does mankind's capabilities. This is unsettling to some but let's not forget this world is a multilevel classroom and God is teaching His children. Many lessons must be learned before true wisdom sets in. It's going to all work out in the end.
