Trees with sweet beans - school time memories

That's what we called those trees. I now know their real name. They are called rain trees. We walked to school and this particular road was skirted with these trees. They had long black beans that fell off the tree. We would pick them up and enjoy them. They were sweeter than honey. But mother would not have it. She had given strict instructions that we should not eat them. She caught me one day. Those long beans had seeds that we discarded and by mistake some of them fell in my school bag.
