I wanted to try my new panini maker and since we didn't have sandwiches yesterday I decided to try making French toast. Someone on here mentioned it as a possibility and it sounded feasible to me. I seasoned the egg and milk mixture with vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It only took about 2.5 minutes to cook and it was quite delicious. I will definitely do this again. I am open to suggestions for any uses for the panini maker that I might not have thought of.

It looks like they turned out nicely. I love French toast for supper on occasion with a little brown sugar sprinkled over it and then lots of maple syrup.

Now I had never thought of using mine in that way. I actually tossed ours out because of a mouse. I won't gross you out over the details.

Someone on here gave me the idea, I foget who and I thought it sounded like a good idea and it was. Mice make a lot of mess and yes they are gross but most homeowners have had to deal with them at one time or another.
