I'm always annoyed at how much area trey include in that term as mid California is not "Southern California. So they scare us and our relatives silly and its not us with the flooding. We get panicky calls when we have no flooding and have to explain the way the forecasters here work.' My rant for right now. no flooding yet here' as far as I know. The forecast is often wrong. As a Canadian watching US weather forecast we have trouble comprending why we get blamed for the bad weather....ever look at the map....see Alaska? Last time I checked it was in the USA. Also the weather seems to stop as soon as it hits the border.
