Now That the Cat is Out of the Bag!

A few weeks ago I posted a photo of the valentines wreath I made, when I was supposed to be cleaning my sewing room.
A fellow Mylotter sent me a PM asking if I would consider selling it. To say I was surprised is putting it mildly. We communicated back and forth and the wreath was packaged and mailed.
The USPS got it there in record time. It wasn't mailed until Saturday morning and was delivered already on Monday.
Saturday also saw me visiting a fabric shop and purchasing the wee bit of dark pink neede to complete a replacement for myself.
The original is still my favourite, but this is an excellent replacement.

Very nice! I think it is so cool that you got to make one for someone on here. I seen the picture of it and they love it. I can't believe how quickly it was delivered. That is awesome.

That was the reason I made a quick trip "over the river" to mail it from a US post office. No problems crossing the border....even if some women from Quebec were turned away on Friday.

@Happy2BeMe no customs and a lot less for postage. Often if I order something online to avoid shipping charts I have it shipped to my sister. As long as I'm not in a rush it works well. I also have a friend in Buffalo who has told us we can have it shipped to her as well.

@UncleJoe photos often don't do things justice, but I've also seen photos that are amazing and then the item is disappointing.

The personalizing was more difficult than I expected...my eyes don't do cross stitch as easily as they once did.
