Is It A Necessity?

I know some who can't live without a watch. I mean, it's like they are not complete if they don't wear their watches. I used to be like that but since I have a phone, I stopped using a watch. Last December, I accumulated enough points in a website that I had joined before and I can't think of a good thing to buy, then I saw this watch. I ordered it right away because my points will expire soon. After 35 days, my new watch is here. I think I will start using a watch again. It took so long maybe because it's free. Hahaha!

Yup, I think that is required for nurses, right? Hihihi! I always rely on my phone's clock too. I always hit my wrist watch on something hard when I am wearing one. Haaaay

35 days! Why did it take that long? That's a very nice watch. I am so uncomfortable if iIgo out and have no watch. I would always look at my wrist where my watch would usually be.

Maybe because I didn't pay for it... It's just for free. I mean, I just used my points. Actually this is not an expensive watch if you buy it on other online shopping sites. It is very affordable.

I do like to wear a watch but it isn't a necessity for me. I am quite obsessed with knowing the time. Partly, it's because I usually have somewhere to be or someone to pick up at certain times but even when I have all day, I get stressed if I don't know the time! I own three watches, I think. One is too big for my wrist. I think the strap is broken on another, and the third is OK but keeps stopping even when its battery has been replaced. I'd rather not know the time than keep a watch that tells me the wrong time. I usually have a phone with me so I can find out what time it is. If I have nothing to tell the time, I will occasionally buy something or use a cash machine just so I can get a receipt which will show me the time!

Today the watch is less important for me because I can see the time anytime from my mobile phone. However, I do have a watch which is also a traffic card. When I take the bus or subway, I like to wear it because it is much more convenient. I also like to have a smart watch because I can change the watch face easily. It is like I have a different watch everyday.

I have 5 watches which I can't all use. I gave one of these, an automatic, to the altar server in church, another one I also gave last week to another friend who serves in church. I kept the remaining 3 for my use. One is an Omega which was an award for 25 years of service in my company, another is a Seiko battery-operated watch and the third is a Fitbit watch given by my daughters two years ago which I use during our morning walks to keep track of time, distance walked and calories burned. I also wear at night when I sleep to serve as my alarm. I like using it as alarm because it just vibrates on my wrist. I use to have my alarm before from my cellphone but I hate its sudden alarm which sometimes makes me nervous.

I seldom use my Seiko watch that my parents gave me. It's too shiny lol I mean, its color can attract attention especially those thieves. Hihi

I have several watches just lying in my drawer, my kids no longer want to wear watches and I have lost the urge to wear one, thinking of selling them but most have sentimental value so they remain there.

I'm one of those who can't live without a watch. I hate my cell phone and keep it switched off most of the time. I do use it as an alarm clock though, but that's only because the alarm is louder than any of the clocks I can find.

I never stopped using a wrist watch, because it is always under my eyes and ready available. To check the time on the phone is a waste of time.

I used to use a watch until I became impatient. I kept on looking at my watch. I'm a very time-sensitive person and I don't tolerate people who don't value my time. Since it just makes me mad, I have to remove it.

I feel I'm incomplete without a watch... I always prefer to wear one...I am habituated to it.. I have been wearing watches since i was 6 .. love them very much!!!even if I forget to wear.. I borrow it from one of my friends...
