Rough Morning

I woke up feeling the worst I have ever since I got sick. I am going to take this as a sign that this is the peak of my sickness and that I won't be sick for very much longer. I ached and was stuffed up. I kept coughing until I could hack up what was in my throat. I am surprised my son didn't wake up hearing me cough. I also sneezed quite a bit which made the pressure in my ears super uncomfortable. My breakfast consisted of chicken noodle soup and crackers. It is the only thing I had the strength to make. My husband sounds like he is doing better though which is good. He is taking a nap right now and my son has been calm for the day which I am so grateful for. I can't wait to be all better though. For now I am finishing up watching season 2 of The Strain so I can return the DVDs as soon as possible and then I'll be working on homework. I still need to buy art supplies for my art class but no one is feeling up to it so I will hope that tomorrow or Monday night I am able to get them. How did you wake up this morning? What did you have for breakfast? Any important things that you need to do today?

I had a long sleep. I felt well-rested when I woke up. Just had coffee. I ate a lot of lunch. Had beef stew and rice.

Glad to know you are better. Got a much needed rest and nap yesterday. Now I'm better.

I hope you feel better soon, 100%. I met with someone new about childcare but I guess she didn't like something about me or the house. Oh well. I got my chores done early today so now we are just relaxing at home.

As you say, perhaps this is the worst you are going to get and you'll now start to feel better. I hope so.
