Hey everyone! I hope your having a wonderful day so far. =) Today has been a great day so far. Our family all went to church for the first time in a really long while. It felt so good to worship together and have some time as a family as well.
God spoke to my husband and I through the sermon today. It was awesome! We need to remember to lean on God more and let God work-while we step back and stop trying to do things ourselves.
My husband unfortunately went back to work after church but he's not supposed to be gone all day. We will see...

Blessings to you and your family. Haven't been to church in a long time. I keep my faith at home and pray in the morning and before going to bed.

@RasmaSandra Before finding our church home my husband and I did the same thing. Now that we found a church that feels like our family we love going! =)

@DWDavis That is awesome that you got to do so much with them! I am sure they have tons of good memories from those trips. =) It definitely sounds like you made the better choice.

@LovingMyBabies My sons are one of the reasons I gave up a career in public accounting and became a teacher, so I could spend more time with them. We did Scouts, sports, fishing trips, camping trips, vacations, one-on-one weekends, all kinds of things an accounting career would have prevented me from being able to do. I don't regret my decision one bit, and I know it was God's will that I did what I did.

@Happy2beme Thank you! It seems like something always stops it from happening but I'm praying we will be able to go every week like we used to. =) It felt so good being there.

Sounds like an enjoyable day. We went to church ourselves and then had a potluck after church and then came home and relaxed. And now I am doing some catch up on myLot for a bit.

@LovingMyBabies I need to make sure I get to church this Sunday. Do you go on Wednesday nights? I know it's hard to get kids out on a weeknight. Especially with you being pregnant and moving.

That is good you we're able to go to church as a family and glad to hear that god spoke to you both through the sermon. Hopefully your husband is home at a decent time today from work.

Don't forget to tell your husband that God designed a "day of rest" for a purpose! We all need some down time and chance to rest so we can re-charge our batteries!

We try to attend church services together almost every Sunday. Sometimes only one of us attends....occasionally neither of us make it.
