Cleaning out my closet

Yesterday a miracle happened. I decided to go through all my clothes and separate what i didnt want for my mom to give to the needy. I had 5 big shopping bags full of clothes ( the size of medium trash bags i guess) and at the end of the whole thing i stayed with only one bag for me and 4 bags to give away. There was just so many clothes i hardly or never used. Now i have just the essencials that i use alot and my formal dresses. How often do you clean out your closet?

I really need to clean out my closet. I have not done that in well over a year. I need to get it done.

That is a nice thing to do. Since i dont change much my style and my size i only do it every couple of years.

Yes. I find that if i am not going to use it then i should give it to others that need it just like many did for me when i was younger. There is no point in wasting perfectly good clothes.

I am trying to clean things out now. I am filling up bags to donate to my favorite thrift store. There are way too many clothes in here, I am going to try to get rid of half of them. It has been a long time since I added anything new and I am really tired of wearing the same clothes all the time.

Sometimes it is hard to get rid of clothes because we can always thing of a certain time we can use them. But my strategy was just keeping those i use the most. If i had only used it once in that year then it had to go. For me to only use it once means i didnt really care for that shirt
