~He Was So Mad He Could Have Went To Jail~

After my husband and I went to my appointment we were sitting at a red light, waiting to turn. My husband and I heard the loudest yelping. We look over and some guy is literally picking a dog up by it's neck and he threw the dog on the sidewalk! My husband turned and whipped into the parking lot.
The dog was tied up outside some restaurant with no food or water. My husband went inside and was screaming at this guy for the way he mistreated that dog! There was another woman who witnessed this and she came running from her job next door to confront the guy as well. She was in tears for this dog.
The dog's nose was bleeding and he was underfed. 
Another couple who witnessed everything called the police on the guy. We had to get back to our kids but hopefully that guy was arrested!! 
My husband wanted to kill that guy and he really wanted to take the dog too.

I don't blame him. It would have been hard not to do the same thing to the guy. I hate people like that. I hope the dog was taken and he was arrested. I also hope that the laws there are stricken then what they are here for animal abuse.

@Happy2beme Yeah it was an awful sight to see. =( I hope the guy was arrested too and I hope the dog finds a loving home like he deserves. We have never dealt with it before so I'm not sure but I know animal cruelty is against the law.

@LovingMyBabies It just sickens me to think about it and if he is that abusive to animals then you know he is that way with people too. He is a coward!!

That is very wrong. That man should not be a pet owner and I hope he gets arrested for pet abuse.

@LadyDuck Yeah it was the saddest thing we have seen. =( Yes I do-he couldn't let anyone hurt an animal like that and not say something.

@WorDazza I absolutely agree with you! That's what my husband told the guy. My husband said we will take it if you don't want him. The guy's girlfriend said no it's my dog-not his and I am keeping him. =( My husband told her she should defend the dog then and keep that guy away from him!

What is wrong with people?! Just reading that breaks my heart, especially since one of our dogs is cuddled up next to me right now. I'm glad you and others were there for this dog, and I really hope a better home is found for the dog (and that the jerk is arrested).

@LovingMyBabies I don't like condoning violence but man everytime I hear about an animal being mistreated like that, I wish for them to have the living $hit beaten out of them! That is just disgusting! I hope the guy got what he deserved! And more!

This restaurant owner in Anniston that lived over it, tossed a dog off the roof and killed it... he is still in jail!

I just don't get behavior like that. Why have a dog or kids for that matter if you don't want to take care of them, and all you do is abuse.
