FMAO

I just got back in from shoveling snow. Yes, it snowed this morning. And by the time I got back into the house, I was FMAO. It started snowing around nine o’clock this morning and quit about two o’clock this afternoon. We got about three inches (7.6 cm) of snow. I wasn’t going to shovel since there is supposed to be another storm coming in later tonight. Right now it’s twenty degrees Fahrenheit (-6.6º C). Tomorrow it supposed to warm up enough for it to rain. We are sitting on the border line between a cold front and a warm front. Depending on which front wins over the other is what will determine how much snow or rain we will get. By Monday though it’s supposed to warm up to forty degrees Fahrenheit (4.4º C). After exercising the snow shovel, I see it snowing again. I have no plans of going out there again and FMAO. I’ll just wait until morning and see what it’s doing. Oh, I almost forgot. You probably want to know what FMOA stands for. Freezing my A off.

I'll bet you were FYAO! It's about 50º or so right now . . . a bit gray . . . not quite FMAO yet!

@RichardMeister I would think the wind would be really cold at 20º! So what kind of winter gear do you wear outdoors so you don't FYAO? No tanks and shorts I'm sure .

@much2say No I have a heavy coat and some heavy isolated flannel shirts. When the wind was blowing it was above 20º. But it also was a warm wind from the south which make ha huge difference. You Californians are pushing all your warm air up this way.

Haha, it took me a minute to get what the F was for - freaking, flipping.. I hate to say it but I'm glad it's you and not me. I stay cold these days and I'm down here where it's warm compared your part of the country. Hope you've got a nice hot fire or radiator to stick your feet to.
