I can speak just finnish and english. I study swedish and german before but I didn't use those languages so I forget most of them. I also try learning italian on internet but I see that site was using Google translate and it's really bad idea atleast for finnish language... It didn't work so well I just learn some words but I would like to be able to speak italian well. I been learning Jamaican Patois also but I can understand it so much better if I read it than if I hear it it's a funny language. How many languages can you speak or have study before?

Hi, Miia! My name is Marja and I speak Finnish too. I have lived in Sweden since 1955, so I have spoken Swedish most of my life.. learned some German and French at school and later, I studied Spanish.. It was useful, when I visited Spain a couple of times and met Spanish speaking people in Sweden..I often use jw.org and there is a language app, if I need to say something in a language I can't speak or show some literature - there are hundreds of languages there and more will be translated.. welcome to friend me in Facebook, my second name is Sandström

@GegeTheMechanic It would be nice to learn Italian too, and it is rather easy to pronounce for us who speak Finnish - much like Spanish..

Wow you are so cool studying a lot of languages. Well I do speak our native language, english and a basic of Korean (due to my addiction to Korean dramas) and basic of Spanish... I love their language.

Italian and English. I studied French and Spanish: I can still understand something, as they're similar to Italian, but I can't say I can speak them. Finnish, I know a few words too, I almost don't know where to start. The alternation of consonants and vowels and declinations, and exceptions. The more you write the more you should be able to hear, when it comes to Jamaican Patois, I think.

My native language is German. I know English very well and can speak Italian. I studied English and Russian at uni and taught Russian for 20 years at secondary grammar schools. I know some Turkish. Enough to fool Turks. Check out the language learning site The basic courses are free. Only if you want to more exercises, you have to pay.

I only speak two languages but I tried to learn another but it was just hard and I didn't have motivation to continue. But I only wished I could learn them all.
