what do you think should govern you...your mind or your heart?!!

I was just thinking ...how my days are going on...then i realized that..i often have a clash between what my mind is up to and what my heart wants....and that leaves me stuck... sometimes ...even making the wrong decisions...
does it happen to others too?? or i am the only ....
sometimes... it look as if what the heart wants is perfect for me... but i end up doing what the mind wants....because it is convenient to do so..
so what do you think.... what should govern you... your mind or your heart...?!!!!

As in all things, there must be balance.
Sometimes following your heart leads to contentment but other times, it is disastrous.
Following your mind may reward you with stability & fulfillment of goals but leave you joyless.
Finding a balance is what successful adulting is all about.

I hope this happens to all. I would want both my mind and heart to follow my dreams.. we could easily control one over the other by practising yoga.

It depends on what problem or situation you are in, and if it is right or wrong... But most of the time I will follow my heart.

I've often felt I've made mistakes because I've gone with my head when I should have gone with my heart. Both head and heart should be used. My other half is very logical and will use his head for everything. There are a few things, though, where he would have done better to use his heart. Sometimes your head doesn't know.

Nice post. I always follow heart where the soul resides. Mind is too calculative
