The Block Loves "The Big Country"

The Big Country is my favorite Western and one of my all-time favorite films. It Stars Gregory Peck, who portrays James McKay, a wise and humble man from the east, visiting the wild west for the first time. Goodness and inherent courageousness, also rounds out his unforgettable character. (I believe all men should aspire to be the type of man like James McKay....) If you get the chance, SEE this film, which also has a wonderful musical score.

@DianneN Hi Dianne! Yeah, I think I watched it 3 or 4 times throughout the years. I'm much better, even walked a few blocks with my crutch. I'm off the walker, baby!

@theBlock , I could never get into Westerns. I love old Musicals. Wise and humble are always good examples to aspire to though.
