Made it to work....

Good morning....I am only an hour late so not too bad considering the road conditions. I would have been here earlier but I had to wait for our street to get plowed. There were snow drifts over 3 feet high in places. Cars were stuck all over the place. Where there is no snow it is all ice. Schools are all closed today. It was a wild night. Thankfully the storm has passed and now it time for the clean up.
The temperature this morning is -15C (-26C) with the wind chill factored in). It is cold out there. That would be 5F (-15F). If that isn't bad enough the are forecasting the same thing all over again on Monday and Wednesday next week. I sure hope they are wrong about that.
I guess I can say that Winter has arrived here and I am not one bit happy about it. I was doing just fine with all our Spring like temperatures.
Wherever you are I hope your weather is better there then it is here!!

If it all possible I would blow our 70 F temps your way to melt your snow away. I wouldn't mind seeing some more snow before it actually is suppose to in the 70's, at the end of May not the middle of Feb. Glad you made it safely to work. Be careful on the roads and stay wrapped up warm! @Happy2BeMe , here we are getting massive thunderstorms, but it is summer, so I don't mind, we just switch everything off and hope the power holds.

I am glad you made it to work safely. I remember those days of driving during a snow storm, they were terrifying. That ice is the worst. Don't want to make you jealous 
but it is beautiful here in central Florida, in the 70's and sunny. I'm hoping this front that is supposed to happen next week misses your area.

Oh my gosh I cannot imagine driving to work in those conditions. There were times when I was young before my teens where we had crazy winters with high snow drifts and state of emergencies would close the roads. My dad still had to drive to work an hour away. I'd have an anxiety attack and wreck there is no way I could do that. Very glad you made it to work safely!

Our weather is just a little better here but our nice spring temperatures have plummeted to down right cold too. I was getting used to going out without being all bundled up. Glad you made it to work okay
