Sitting at the local coffee shop mylotting

My fiance had an appointment to give blood this morning so I got him to drop me off at the local Timmie's so I could use their WiFi and do some mylotting while I wait for him to be done. I think I have a bit of a myLot addiction. When he is done their we will do our grocery shopping.
Lots of people here this morning. Lots of little kids and their parents coming from hockey practices. I was just chatting with two young fellas who were training for a speed skating competition which I thought was cool.
Here I sit all alone...makes me miss those family times when my kids were little. Weekends were always so busy back then and I loved every minute. Sitting here just people watching brings back a flood of memories.

What would we Canadians do without our favorite hang out place, Timmies? And their coffee.....its so great.
I know that our Saturdays used to be quite full and busy too when our son was younger.
Those were our favorite years, running to him to swimming lessons, or music lessons, or a birthday party at a friend's place or soccer.........
You at least have your grands that you can enjoy some of these things with, I'm still waiting for our son to marry and then to have kids.......it won't be long though.

Yes I do but I very rarely see them on the weekends. They are always busy doing their things. I haven't rolled up my rim yet. I wonder if I will win?

@Happy2BeMe I hope that you do. I have only won one time, a couple of weeks ago, but I rarely go anymore it seems I'm too busy. I hope that your fiancé won't be too long and then you guys can go out and enjoy your Saturday.
Its so mild here I washed the quilt off of our bed and have it drying out on the line-I love line dried linens they feel and smell so wonderful.

@Juliaacv bedding on the line smells so good. He should be along anytime now. It usually takes about an hour. Last time I just sat in the car but it was boring and a bit chilly. I had to keep starting the car to stay warm. It is much better here.

I hope you enjoy your time at Tim Horton's me and my girlfriend always get the frozen ice capps in the summer. I have never had their coffee though their donuts are good as well.

@Happy2BeMe Yeah I don't either only a summer drink. Get a glazed donut and heat it in microwave for a few seconds and oh my goodness so yummy.

Ice Capps are the best but I usually don't drunk them in the winter. They have awesome donuts.

Your making me feel bad. I have a nine year old daughter and a four year old son. I know these are the best times of my life but so crazy as well.

It's easy to get wistful about the days when our children were young. Happens to me frequently. Luckily we have grandchildren to keep us hopping and making all new memories. Enjoy your weekend!!
