I was happy last night when my co-teacher texted me salary already available after almost 2 months of waiting. This morning after attending a Sunday Mass, I withdrew some and bought ice cream and moist cake for my family.
I have to save my money in bank and spend only some. I have other source of income earning from my inherited property from our beloved parents 10 hectares coco farm equally shared for 6 of us brothers and sisters that yield cocos.Harvest of them is done quarterly. Money is hard to find , so I must save for the rainy days.

Have a wonderful and amazing Sunday everyone!

@Happy2BeMe We hope here for four teachers resigned impromptu due to dismal feeling. They are probationary teachers, but they have the right to air their grievances.

It is heartening to hear that finally you got the much awaited salary. Why don't they pay you timely?
Is coco farming fetches healthy returns?

@marlina , Our coco farm is in the province almost 5 hours ride from the city.I may show it next time when my nephew comes to deliver some veggies. I think there is no coco farm in California. Coconuts are usually raised by Asians. I have not seen a singe coco in New Zealand .

It is always worth it no matter who you are to try and learn how to budget $$ to make it last. Many times though for us due to limited income right now from my online business, it is limited. But always glad when the better days come.

Coconuts are priced high these days. Do you also have other crops in between the coco trees? You can boost your income if you do intercropping like planting bananas, and other plantation crops to maximize the land.

@acelawrites ,Thanks friend, yes there are fruits and the produce will be charged to my nephews and other siblings. They can do what they want with the production to sell or consume all hehehe. I just need the income from coconuts.

@Hatley, yes friend, actually we sold some hectares when our father was so ill with cancer of the large intestine. We spent t almost 90,000 a month so we sold some hectares. Our father survived another 6 months after having been diagnosed with cancer. We are still happy with the remaining for we can always remember and see our dear parents fighting life to have all their children in our family having something to eat and future savings.
