Women..capable for anything to look beautiful

February 19, 2017 7:53pm CST
How many of us (women particularly ) wouldn't do anything to look and feel beautiful non matter the consequences are.. I just personally can't do anything what makes me uncomfortable just to look good!! I love and embrace who I am..why I say this? I have a very close and good friend which is obsessed or maybe a narcissist person and does a lot of Botox in stuff and many another painful procedures to look good. Last week after a Botox session she couldn't talk and eat anything for 2days I guess was to much at once and within the week all her face was swallowed like she was bitten by the bee... In conclusion..why we human beings are hurting ourselves so much!!! Instead we need to be able to accept and love the way we are and everything else will fall into its place.

If it was free I would gladly try Botox on the deep creases on my forehead. It really sounds like your friend had a bad experience but I doubt it happens all the time as there are lots of people who get Botox.

@Magicallove I've used lots of products claiming to reduce wrinkles and nothing worse. Maybe if I had used them preventatively it may have but I never expected to start getting wrinkles at 21.

I bet are plenty of women are using Botox which I don't judge but only until a point when is not going physically... I personally wouldn't like to try..I'm more adept to Ayurvedic herbs and oil only natural stuff to try in my body

@shaggin sorry to hear about it but don't be discouraged A good tip is to use Castor oil on your wrinkles every day or every night constantly and you will see the results Works fantastically!!

I agree with you. I know people who are addicted to plastic surgery. I could never go under he knife for beauty. I am happy with who I am. I have no desire to any procedures done to try and improve things.

Very true words. Looking good matters to some extent of course but not to the point of hurting ourselves! I feel sorry for your friend and I hope she understands that hers is a pointless pursue behind amazing looks. Only by accepting what we truly are that we can create happiness and satisfaction in our lives.

@Magicallove yes every feeling comes from inside, we can create happiness or create problems in our lives out of nothing, it's only a matter of choosing what we want. Self love has to be appreciated, otherwise the person will always feel inadequate.

I totally agree with your point but as you said...to hurt ourselves I think that there is lack of self love and beauty in the end...comes always from inside!!

Beautifully written. Why is only one standard of beauty considered the norm. So many people are beautiful as they are.

It's so true but many of us are not aware of this fact! True beauty comes from within ...

Can I get an amen!!!! Which is one of the reasons I will never get a bikini wax, etc. My aunt used to do face lifts all the time between the ages of 35 and 53, all it did was just make her look plastic, and later after she turned 60, made her face droop, have problems with her eyes, just totally ruined her face, I mean, whatever happened to aging gracefully ?

Wow..so sorry to hear about your aunt! I bet it's super painful and in top of everything her self esteem dropped...here is he thing that I hate the surgery any type of and why people simple..just don't embrace and accept who they are and how God let them ...bc in the end..we all are beautiful and unique in our way!!

People who are not in touch with their inner self, will never be happy with their outer looks ..
