Good afternoon on this mild day. Been a busy sort again.Trying to get my cell phone straightened out. Hopefully tomorrow will end up finishing what I want to. Some sad news here. Former star of The Partridge Family David Cassidy revealed that he is suffering from dementia. He is only 66 years.Dementia runs in the family. His mother and grandfather also had this. Funny how life change as we older .You never know.As far as I concern no one in my family had this.Or relative. This is a shame. the photo is the lily that most of them coming to bloom.Still have a few to open
His revelation comes after video showing he slurred words and fell off a stage.

Yes I did not know much about the disease until recently. It seems a very tough way to go, so sad for all the sufferers.

Dementia is a bad thing. It takes your memories away and that is not good at all. My mother in law had dementia and she was supposed to be in a place that understood and cared. But she did not know one of the caretakers and threw a trash can at her. The place called the police and had her arrested. We took her out of that place.

Aww, I love David Cassidy, I grew up with him on the t.v. My paternal grandfather had this. Never know what will happen to any of us, day by day so live life to the fullest!

He was young and that is so sad to get that. I think people with that and alzheimers is also very sad for them and for the family.

My mother has Alzheimer's. It's hard to watch. If I recall, dementia is a symptom that can come with different aliments, including Alzheimer's? I need to get the genetic testing for myself, just to be prepared.

@amadeo Hopefully so. I suspect you would have already shown signs of it if you were prone to dementia.

My grandfather had alzheimers and we found out not too long ago that my uncle has it too. A lot of these diseases are caused by diet.

It's difficult when you are old and weak and you will have dementia. There's no dementia in my family

This is a terrible disease, I would prefer to die than to have dementia. Nobody in my family had this.

It is a shame. My grandmother and her oldest son had it for about 10 years each. They were happy and content, they didn't realize what had happened, but to lose the rest of your life like that is so sad. It's so hard on those who know them.
