My husband had to go into see a neurologist today to see about his nerves in his legs.. well the nurse was real funny and joked with us so that part was good.. Then the doctor came in.. didn't even say hello or what he was going to do or walk my husband through it.. then he stuck him with the needle and it hurt very bad then he stuck him again.. my husband was in very bad pain and the doc said we stick old people and kids with this needle there should be no reason to act like this. So he just said that you are acting weird and I'm done with you.. and there is nothing wrong with you. We will never go back to him again. I don't care if we have to drive hours to get to a different doctor. Very unprofessional.

@hillhjill You pretty much have to go see the doctor when your doctor made the referral. I would definitely file a complaint and let you doctor know about it too.

Yes, that doctor is unprofessional and has no heart. I find the ones who have a private practice care for the patients more.

Some people lack bed side manners either you have them or you don't. I hope you find a good doctor.

Doctor should treat patient with patience and with proper assurances about what's going on with your health. Maybe the Doctor is having a rough day.

@hillhjill And beside he is a Doctor, he should treat your husband right. Good thing you are going to have another Doctor.

Well maybe but that is not excuse to be so rude to patients.. all my husband wants to do is figure out what is going on with him.

What kind of behavior is that from a physician? We would drive hours to another doctor to avoid that too.

Yeah I don't know.. we have seen him only one time before and he was kinda stiff then.. so we are now looking for a new doctor.. how can you say there is nothing wrong when you don't feel the pain that is in side of us.. I mean come on that is why we are here to get help.

Yes it was.. he doesn't know how my husband feels (it's his body) so he is the only knows what's going on inside of it.. and the doc doesn't want to finish the test.. because of my husband being in pain.
