After a long time I wrote a story.. Well it is a micro-story.. I wrote that in my mother language Bengali. I am not good in translation and some feelings cannot be translated equally in other language.. but I am trying to translate that in English for you... Please read and let me know..
The Promise
They promised each other that they will stay together at least for one night in life.
So today, the sixty six years old Lady, ‘happy’ with her grand-children, is sitting whole night beside the dying bachelor old man in a hospital cabin.

@pammooratan I did not get you.. I again read the guidelines.. I did not see anything like that.. you can not post other's copy righted material.. but you can post yours..

@jaboUK thank you.. actually I write in bengali.. and I am not that good and interested to translate all those write ups which got published in magazines.. This one was a 2 liner story that's why I translated it into English..

yes you are right... readers will think what happened and all.. and that is the intent of short stories... it will say less and make the readers think more.
