What makes people beautiful?

For me, I don’t usually look for the physical appearance of a person. It doesn’t make the person beautiful on that way. It is just a plus factor. Let us get into a reality if someone knows how to help others without any returns; then she is the most beautiful in my eyes. Some people missed the point that a person is not only possessing good physical attributes but the personality counts more than the other preferences. Beauty can fade away in time, inner beauty will last forever and be remembered by people.

I am still trying to figure out what makes a person beautiful. Whether it is his/her appearance or physical attributes or personality, conduct, behaviour or communication skills.

For me beauty lies in Heart...If you are good at heart you are beautiful...Beauty doesn't need to show off ...It reflects from your persona..If you have a good soul you don't require to look good for some materialistic people....Outer Beauty is temporary...

I agree that inner beauty is true beauty. I've seen people who might have pretty faces but their inner ugliness shows and they do not appear so beautiful. Then you have those who may not be any Hollywood definition of beauty but they are beautiful because they are good people. Of course, you have those who have plain faces and are not nice, as well as those with physically beautiful faces who are also beautiful on the inside. My partner tells me I'm pretty as well as beautiful on the inside. Whether anyone else agrees, I don't know but I'm glad he thinks so, and I think similar about him.
A beautiful person is someone who accepts people for who they are (within reason, of course), who is good and kind, and who gives of themselves without expecting anything in return.

@Shavkat You are right in saying it can't be generalised, although you then generalised! :P
I don't believe that 'most' people with pretty faces have bad attitudes. I think some faces become prettier or uglier as personality shows. Well, some people wear their face well. Some are so beautiful on the outside because they shine from the inside. Others radiate their ugly personality and only get more ugly as we get to know them.

Rightly so. Beautiful is within us not outside. So if we just tell ourselves to be not selfish it is good.
