...and I keep on editing my discussions and comments...

I believe this is taking most of my time when I am here in this site: I keep on editing my discussions and comments.
The keyboard of the desktop has some sticky keys like the E and the P that is why when I read my comments, I have misspelled words that have E in it-the E is usually missing. Sometimes too, the space bar is difficult to press that is why if you notice some of my discussions and comments, 2 words are rolled into one.
I type with only 2 index fingers. It seems I will never learn typing with all my digits, and I should always look down at the keyboard as well.
It ‘aches my eyes’ when I read misspelled words in my comments. I also laugh at my misspelld words(See? I did not intend to do this misspelled ‘misspelld’ word.)
How about you, do you edit your discussions and comments with the wrong spelling?

@ridingbet Typing errors are fairly common at Mylot, as is the habit of omitting the word "not" which totally changes a meaning.
I usually point out mistakes when I see them because most members want to know so that they can amend it.

@DianneN when i was chatting with my kid brother using a phone left by my other brother (the one working in UK), i laughed at a word because the phone has predictive text. i was supposed to put PAMILYA (family) and what was sent was PAMELA, so my brother asked PAMELA. when i said about the predictive text, he gave out a LOL and a laughing emoji.

yesterday, i tried typing with my middle fingers, both, and you know what happened? more errors in spelling. hahaha!
i cannot even understand what i typed because of those letters that go with the intended one.

Sounds like you need to clean the keyboard perhaps. Take out the E and P key and wash them with soap and water, that sometimes helps with sticky keys. And don't you have spell check?

@ridingbet It might be time for a new keyboard, I don't know what they cost in the Philippines but here they are really cheap.

I think the key with E on your keyboard has given up, you either try to repair it or get a new one instead

@ridingbet That's really great you brought a new one its better to get new one instead of getting old one fixed

If I catch something I have been known to go and fix them from time to time, but do not stress about it. As for spelling errors tonight is one I have to keep on correcting myself.

even now, i still edit my comments that have errors in spelling. i think it is already inherent in us to correct any wrong.

I too type with my index fingers. Most often I see I have used s in place of a and r instead of e.So editing has to be done.

I do when I catch them! I'm kind of OCD about that. But it doesn't take that much of my time. Like you, I have a sticky keyboard, and I am not the best typist anyway. So I DO do a lot of editing. but it's USUALLY before I post.

i laugh at my own typo errors. and i should not hurry typing too, because the E should be pressed well. i am also certain that some of my commenters laugh at what i post too. also when i am in my brother's phone where there is predictive text; still more errors, and the sense is senseless.

I use my iPad and it seems I often don't hit the e key either. That and when I aim for the n or m I hit the space bar. Then the comment suddenly looks nonsensical. Throw in some auto correct and I write some bizarre comments. When I spot the mistake I try to edit. I'm not always successful.
This one needed editing because I didn't hit the n in when hard enough.

when i use my brother's phone, or even mine, there are always errors in spelling. i read a comment too, and i laughed because my comment was not at all appropriate with the question asked by the author. i will not mention the discussion and the author, because i might be a laughing stock
