Pay attention to me!

There is a pet peeve that I have with some people and it is people that require attention and ask for it. I am not talking about those attention posts i mean when it is just privet messaging. I like to work while I message people, I have ADD so I like to be able to reach over to my phone, answer messages when I seem I am losing focus and refresh myself. Lately I am trying to discipline myself to work more before I answer messages. Since I am working on scripts I came up with a method of, write a scene, then go back to messages, some scenes are longer than others so that could mean a little bit more than just a few minutes away from the phone. Then you have the people that message, and if you do not message in a minute they ask, "Are you there?" And then they ask "Do you even want to talk?" And then the most annoying thing is, "I guess you don't even care about me!" This has happened so much to me! I try to explain that I am working on stuff but then there are some people that just do not get it. That I am working on something, I will get to your messages when I can. It is that easy! Some people, my goodness, they are so selfish sometimes. I like the people that understand that I go back and forth with my phone and answer when I can. Ugh, attention getters. Grr.
