~Flat Tire-No Doctor Today~

Well we were on our way to the babies doctor appointments, we got more than half way and we got a flat tire. This van loves having flat tires apparently since this happened 2 months ago with a different tire. My husband is putting the the spare on now and we scheduled the appointment for tomorrow instead.
We are grateful for the flat tire because you never know what the Lord is saving you from when something stops you like this. So we are safe, alive and grateful for God's hand in our lives.

Although its frustrating to get a flat I guess you weren't meant to go to that doctor appointment. God does have a way of looking out for us

This is true. WHen I had my first car I could just park to close to the curb and get a flat tire. LOL

@celticeagle Lol. This van has had too many tire issues. All 4 have been replaced 3 times in the year we have had it.

@Ladyduck We are so lucky that this doctor is available when we need him. He's a wonderful doctor so I want to bless others by telling them about him but at the same time I don't want him to get too busy where we can't get in when we need to. Lol. I tell others about him anyway all the time.

@garymarsh6 Thanks I liked it too. :) We rescheduled the appointment for tomorrow instead. We didn't want to mess up everyone else's schedule.

My van has had 3 flats in the last year..
The first, last summer.. I had a nail in the tire and it was slowly leaking air. Hubby brought it to get fixed, it turned out there were 2 nails, and I had to buy new tires..
Then in October we were camping in Boston, 6 hours away. We only had the 1 night, planned to spend all Sunday wandering around Boston, but Saturday night as we pulled into our campsite we got a flat. The next morning we had to wait an hour for the auto shop to open, then 2 hours getting the tire fixed. Turned out it was a very sharp rock! But they patched the tire and after a few hours in Boston we were able to drive home on the patched tire without a problem.
The 3rd flat was a couple months ago.. it happened in my own driveway. I had to get my son to his All County auditions for band.. and I drive down the road and realize the tire was flat. We had a lot of snow so at first I wasn't sure.. I'd driven on it for too long and the whole thing needed to be replaced.
Thankfully hubby had come to rescue me so I took his car and got my son to his audition on time (and he did end up making All County, even went All State!), but hubby was unable to change the tire so had to call my older son for a ride back to work.. making both hubby and my son late for work!
Each time it was a different tire too..

Sorry that happened, but I do agree totally that things like that happen for a reason. It is God protecting you from something worse happening. I have had many instances happen in my life like that.

Last week when I was walking to get my mail I saw a car in the parking lot with a flat tire.I live in an apartment complex.
