My fiance is going to meet me for lunch today. Not sure where we are going but it will probably just be Subway or something like that. Whatever it is, it will just be nice to get to spend some time together over lunch. It helps to pass the day.
For those of you who work outside the home do you go out for lunch or do you pack a lunch? I pack my lunch Monday to Thursday but I usually pick something up on Fridays for lunch. Friday is payday so I like to treat myself after a long week of work.

Yes we had a great time. We did do the subway which we both like and had a nice chat. Looking forward to getting out of work so we can have some snuggle time. Weekends are the best!

Hehe such a cute photo! And when I went to work I occasionally ate out. Maybe 2-3 times and then the rest a brought meal from home.
Is payday there every Friday or bi weekly?

@Happy2BeMe That's a good plan. If you both work a lot, it's necessary to spend some fun time together when you have the chance.
My boyfriend works in the same office as me sometimes but he is in that company for a year now and never comes by the office any more.

It works in different locations so we try to get together when he has a day off that I am working or when he is working in my area of town.

I hope you and your fiance get to spend more time together than just over lunches, lol. When I was working I always took stuff for breaks and lunch.

We get to spend lots of time together since we live together but it is always nice to see each other through the day too. lol No we haven't set a date. We are not in hurry and when we decide to get married it will just be small and intimate and probably out of the blue. lol

I hope that you have a wonderful time.. no I don't I work in a restaurant and I don't like eating at work no matter where I work at the moment. So I always eat after I get home.

I seldom eat out nowadays. It is a healthier option plus I get to save as well. Once in awhile, I'll go out to eat but certainly nothing too fancy and nothing that would break the bank.

I hope that you both enjoyed your time together over lunch.
I don't think that the location necessarily dictates a good time or not.....just to get a break and spend a little time together.
The BEST Subway meal we ever had, we got to go, and we took it to a nice new park we have in the town near us. We sat at a picnic table and totally enjoyed ourselves and then took a long walk to explore that park.
Its too cold for things like that today, but it gives you ideas.....
I usually pack my lunch when I work full days, which I no longer do.
My husband packs his lunch also.

Where did you wind up going? When I worked many many moons ago - I didn't eat lunch. Back then I smoked and smoking was more important to me than food.
