This comment made me dye my hair

A good friend of mine in fact a relative once looked at my hair and said that she looked younger though she was 10 years my senior. I had started to turn gray but she had already dyed her hair.
That comment was good enough for me get my hair dyed for the first time. I have since then continued dyeing my hair with a colour that almost matches my hair. The first time I did it at the salon but now I dye it at home and it is easy. I need to do it once in two months. Since I have short hair it is easy.
Do your friends influence you and do you take their opinion seriously? Anything you can talk about?

I get more influence here than from off line friends for the most part. I am thinking of adding back some color to my hair. I have read a lot about conditioning with amla and will try that. Somewhere around this house I have some henna and indigo, that is what I used to color my hair with.

my tablemateshellyh has gorgeous red hair and I know she used henna but it a lovely shade and suits her too as she has fair skin and freckles

I also dye my hair since I have some grey hair. I must say that I feel confident after that since I look younger
I dye my hair once in six months as I don't want to touch more chemical stuff. I dye my hair in the hair salon since I am afraid I can't do it well by myself. Although I can ask my husband to help me, but I am afraid he will dye my hair in a mess. I can't trust him

I used Garnier and use it the way I would use shampoo. It is easy. I do leave a few gray strands to give my hair a natural look
And by the way do you take advice from your friends on any issues

I am lucky enough to have a good friend that I do some trading with--she weaves some blonde and brown into my gray--and I do it every 3-4 months or so--that allows my gray to shine but not overwhelm--I am in a young person's profession--and that still influences me a bunch

I keep my hair blonde as I personally don't like the gray. I guess it would depend on who said what to me for it to influence me.

My hair is between black and brown. There is a dye that almost matches my natural hair. I do keep a few gray strands just give my hair a natural aged look (lol)
