Good morning. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Two of you were wondering where I've been the last several days. I've been home working on my book. It's coming along. I finally made it to the next chapter and one of the last three major incidents left before the book is finished. Then I need to start thinking about the cover for it. I've been putting some thought on it, but it's not happening. At least not yet.
I also finished reading Discovery of Witches. Wonderful book. Deborah Harkness went way outside the box when it came to writing this book, but it worked. She used first and third person as well as universal POV in a couple areas. Normally that wouldn't work, but this time it did, to keep me on the edge of my chair and page turning the last three hundred pages until finished. In other words, I didn't put it down for an entire day until finished. I'm ready to start the next one, but that one is going to wait until Freedom's Cry is finished.
I'm also working my jigsaw puzzle and making really slow progress on that one. When frustrated with all three, I spent time on my online strategy game.
This week I also went to the pool. Not every day. Not today either. I wanted to but having done laundry yesterday and making my bed up because I changed it yesterday, I did something so that I could barely walk this morning. Every bone in my body was in pain. I've taken some Ibuprofen so hopefully that will get me moving again. Getting up from this chair would also help.
I went to the chiropractor on Tuesday and he was very happy with me. He says I'm standing straighter and moving easier. So that is also going very well.
Well that's what I've been up to. I haven't left the planet, though I did see Jupiter and Mars this week. I didn't find my name in the obits, so I'm very much alive, and no accidents of any kind, not even close heart stopping ones. They plowed the parking lot on Tuesday for all the snow we got on Monday. Our dusting. We got another dusting this morning. I know it's nothing compared to what the northeast got, but at least it's something.
I do need to go shopping. I don't have my corned beef for today. So I should do that soon.
As some of you might be aware, I haven't posted the Daily Bible Study. If you want it, PM me your e-mail address and I will send it to you. Right now I'm late getting today's done.
That's it. I'm fine and I hope you all have been as well.

I stopped by and figured you were busy with your book. I've been out almost every day and night since last week. I have a St. Patrick's Day party later, so I will be gone again. Don't say I didn't warn you! Glad to hear you are busy in a good way.

Welcome back. Glad to hear that you are okay. I was starting to get concerned when I hadn't seen you around on here for a while. Sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy.

Glad to see you back and to hear that you haven't left the planet. Before joining Mylot I was sure to read a few chapters of the Bible daily - then I realized its all here on Mylot - the daily Bible study, - so it was back to the Bible during your absence.

Wow you have been busy! Congrats on your book--you inspire me to get to finishing mine! And I loved both Harkness books--really well done!

@just4him We are in the home stretch now. There isn't much left in the house, but come this Friday we move out completely. I am doing lunches and dinners with friends this week before we go. I need to get a new phone number tomorrow for my cellphone, then I can place a move order for our internet services.

@Jessicalynnt I've been writing 2000 or more words a day and a chapter a day this week. I've got three chapters done and about to start chapter 51. I have 172560 words so far and 449 pages. This one will be my longest one of the series and I'm not done yet. Soon though. Scarred has 178K+ words and 470 pages. I'm close to that and I know Freedom's Cry will not be finished before 178k. I'm expecting 500 pages at this point. It's already single spaced and to book size, so that would be the actual page count.

No, not snowed in, we missed the big storm. However, today we're getting snow showers. It's been snowing all day, nothing is staying around though.

Well it's good to know you've not fallen off the planet. I just saw another view of your apartment complex from a post you wrote in December when it snowed.

No, I haven't fallen off the planet, though it might seem like it. I've been writing and the book is in the home stretch now and should be finished within the next week. I've written three chapters this week. I love my apartment.

I am a little bit out of the loop...were you hurt? You have an amazing schedule here. If I get it right, you are writing a book, reading novels, working on a jigsaw, writing on myLot, swimming and doing chores...and seem to be in some pain. You are really busy. Do pace yourself and don't overdo it. good luck.

I think you got it right. I've had some back pain, but it's been taken care of. The book is almost finished. I'm only reading a devotional at the moment while I finish writing my novel. The jigsaw is coming along very slowly. I do manage to swim almost every morning, and do chores when necessary.
