Our daffodils are plentiful this year

This year the daffodils on our property are especially plentiful. Although a certain amount of daffodils are expected by us each year, we are not in control of what returns, are we? We'd be so disappointed if these did not return. In recent years we have noticed we have more daffodils than we hoped for, which is always a good thing. And, this is usually what happens with daffodils and other plants like these. Do you have daffodils in your area or other returning lovely things you look forward to each year?

I like the way you say 'return' which means they just come without you doing anything

I think, daffodils don't grow here. I would want to grow them in my garden and watch them sway with the wind...

You don't have the cold weather we do, and it seems they need some of that.

Our daffodils began coming out early and I'm afraid of what this cold snap may have done to them. I'm waiting to see how many come out now that the warmer weather is returning.

I need to get about 50 more ordered, I want them to run down of the side of my driveway, I may need more like a 100. I plant some every year trying to get more and more. I jsut love them, they are so beautiful.

There is a woman in our building who tends the gardens around the grounds and the flowers always look so pretty. I'm sure we'll have daffodils and crocuses and tulips before long. We have a gazebo where we can go and sit and admire all the prettiness she creates. I'm waiting for warmer weather to go out there with a book and camera!
