Have You Ever Wondered...?

I have actually wondered myself about this. At the malls around Christmas time, I always see Santa Clauses and I have often wondered how much they get paid to dress up and pretend to be Santa Claus. So I looked it up. The person, with a fake beard, is actually one of the highest paid of all temporary Holiday Help, making between $100 and $200 an hour. If they are willing to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, they can make up to $300 an hour or more. Did you know that?

Vince just got himself a job but he doesn't know it yet. He'll be surprised won't he?

@IreneVincent If they pay that much here, I'll be putting his name down! He'd make a great Father Christmas - despite what he might think!

If it means working with children it is not a job for me!

I can't imagine how many crying kids they have to deal with. And runny noses.

@IreneVincent The worst part would be pretending to like them all!

I am not sure where those Santa Clauses live. But I can assure you they do not get paid that generously in my area. Normally, minimum wage up to $10.00. That depends on who hires them and how long they will be needed.

The information I researched said that those who work in the big malls make the big money.

That much dough! Of course they have to put up with often obnoxious children. I doubt most mall Santas make that much.
