I'm Not Going All The Way Back There!

There have been times that I have left behind items that I have purchased at a grocery store. Usually, the reason it was left behind is because I did't notice that the bagger had put a bag on the bottom tray of the cart. It would really be courteous for the bagger to let the customer know that he had done so. That way it would be less likely for the customer to leave something behind. After I get home with the groceries and put them all away, that is when I notice that not all of the items got home with me. I look at the receipt to see which ones I had left behind. I then call the store to let them know what had happened and that I will be there the next day to retrieve the items. Once I get home from the grocery store, I'm in for the rest of the day. And besides that, it's 3 miles to the store and I'm Not Going All The Way Back There!

Yes grocery r shopping wears one out and three miles is a ways when you are tired from the days activities too. so the next day should just as well.

You are right about tired from the day's activities. I try to get in 2 or 3 other errands done while I'm out to the grocery store. I don't want to have to get out.....again.

We do not have bag boys, so we do not risk this kind of accidents.
