This morning I saw a long queue of happy and excited women in the city plaza and some more women were rushing to join the queue. I got quite curious, so I asked my husband to stop the car so I can inquire what was the whole hullabaloo all about. I approached the last woman on the line and asked her what was that queue all about. She said it is for one day free haircut, free manicure and free massage for women And then she said there will be free Zumba for women tomorrow. She also told me that the other day it was free paps smear and eye check up for women and these are all part of Women's Month celebration. I think it's really great to hear how women were given such treats for Women’s Month in our place but I don’t think I have the patience to stand in long queue just to get pampered for free. Can you tolerate long queue just to avail of freebies and treats like these?

If I had nothing to do, I'd fall in line and have my freebies!

I wouldn't, but it's good for women who otherwise couldn't get it elsewhere.

I also thought it was good for them, at least they can have those treats for free even just once a year.

Ahmm, for me, time is very important. If I really like a the freebie, maybe I will get a book so I can read those while I am on queue. :)

Hi @wiLLmaH! When I do wait for my doctor in the clinic, I always bring something to read so my time is not wasted while waiting.

I don't think I can. I will let other women who need it the most experience the freebies. They are simple people and these kinds of freebies are hard to come by. They need to pamper themselves and have a break sometime. Your city is great to care for the women.

Yes better leave the treats to those who need most and can't afford to pay perhaps.

Wow, that is so nice that you have that in your place. I think maybe we also have that here. Though, I don't ever like to be in a long queue just to avail of that.

Yes maybe you also have that treats because of Women's month. I also did not know about that, I just learned because it so happened that we passed by that place.

No, it is for Women's Month so maybe if there would be Men's month they also would be given some treats.. I also do my own manicure and pedicure mostly but haircut no, I might just ruin my looks. How nice that you could do all of them on your own.

@salonga , I don't have the patience at all to wait in a long queue. But it's great that the option was there for those who do, we don't get freebies like that here.

Yes it is great to have those treats in our place. Our city mayor is a woman so that probably explains why she so many treats are being given to the women in our locality.

if i am not doing anything, and it is near my neighborhood, i would probably join the line, but if it is so long a queue, i'd rather not anymore.

Honestly I don't but I think the free eye exams and Pap smears would be something worth waiting in line for. Especially if you don't have insurance.
