Report Card Day

I am very proud of my daughter today. She got her report card. She had all A's and B's in every subject. She has been on the honor roll and principal's list all year. She is really working and studying hard this year. I am so proud of her. I hope she keeps up the good work next year in middle school.

@SIMPLYD Exactly right! She has worked so hard this year. I am especially proud of the B in English and the A in Science because she has problems in those subjects.

@Happy2BeMe It sure is. I told her if she kept them like that the rest of the school year, which is at the end of May, I would get her something really special for doing such a great job!

@melissa1024 Oh, I see... School system down here is divided into Primary School up to Year 6 and Secondary School Years 7 to 12, with Year 11 and 12 often referred to as Senior Secondary School or Senior High School...

@sishy7 Thank you! She has been putting forth her best efforts this year. No, she is in the 5th grade now. In our district middle school is grades 6-8.

@sishy7 Oh Okay. Here each state is different but in our state elementary school is kindergarten through 5th, middle school is 6th through 8th, and high school is 9th through 12th.

@Shavkat Oh yes, we always reward her for good grades on her report card. I also told her if she stayed on the honor roll until the end of the school term in May she would have an extra special treat coming her way!

@Courtlynn Thanks! I hope she does too! She has worked really hard to keep them up this far so I hope she does the rest of the year. I told her if she kept them up til the end of the school year I would get her something really special for all the hard work.
