I love to travel by train

I have been travelling by train to reach my college Since 2014. It has been wonderful to sit and look outside through windows. Also i like to have a window seat while travelling. Train is more comfortable to travel by. I mostly prefer train to bus.
Of course we have more opportunities to meet a lot of new people. I like to meet more people.
Do you like to travel by train?

Philippines!! There are many islands...that's why train is not common(my guess).

Sadly, I have never traveled by train. When our freeway system was built back in the 50s and 60s the government tore up a lot of train tracks. People quit using trains to travel from one place to another and used their cars instead. There aren't many places that our passenger trains go and it's very expensive to take a train anywhere. Whenever you see a train here it is a freight train rather than a passenger train.
My grandfather was a conductor on a train starting back in the 1920s and retired from the railroad. My dad was a brakeman for awhile back in the 40s. So it's very sad to me that there are nearly no passenger trains that I can ride.

It is the first time ,i hear someone saying like never travelled by train. In india train cost is cheap and it is easily available one.
