I need advice on potty training.

I thought maybe he just would prefer the big toilet like someone else suggested. Three is getting toward the older side, maybe, although sometimes boys wait longer than girls especially when it's a first child. Maybe someone could find a nice children's book with a frog in it if you all think he may be afraid because of the frog on the potty?

@workathomefan Meaning that any older siblings are moved out of the house already, or gone with a different parent? Sometimes when a child has an older sibling only a few years older it seems easier to potty train the younger child as they want to do what the older one is.

Some kids don't like using a potty. They prefer to use the regular toilet with a small seat over it. He is still young though.

@workathomefan That is what my granddaughter used when she was little. She did not like the potty at all.

my son is 5 and he is still potty training. he needs to be trained by next school year.
