Finished this book yesterday - have now read two of his in a row. This one is much better and has a much more thoughtful and realistic plot, still with dark humor like in his other novels. This one is composed of letters sent between two employees of a big box office store, a middle aged man and a directionless twenty-something. There is no romantic attraction but just friendship that develops as they go through their own issues in life and trying to find meaning in it all. My kind of book! I was also trying to knock down my "to read" books in queue on my book shelf but ended up buying three more this weekend. Lol! Have you read anything decent lately?
