Actors who are wrong for their parts

So, last night I am watching Chicago Med. They had a lady on there supposedly so poor she was eating cat food, not cheap by the way, you would probably be better off with hotdogs..but I digress, she was quite healthy looking, and looked more like she had just stepped in from gardening, than very malnourished. I was thinking with all of the thousands of actors that they probably could have gotten to play that part..they had to pick one that looked like she was going to play tennis after she got out of bed...talent acquistion..what were you thinkin??

I was thinking Tom Cruise cast as Jack Reacher.
If people have seen the film but not read the books they won't get what I mean
I think the UK is way better at casting than the US...sometimes all I see on US tv are beautiful people like a homeless person with perfect teeth etc

I know..like the Jack Reacher character is supposed to be 6'4 and rough looking, nothing like Pretty Boy Cruise.

Lee Child sold out for money...not that I blame him, I'd do a lot of selling out for a big cheque

They just go thru their database. I mean they might not be able to find sickly ones but those that are underweight shouldn't.t be too much of a stretch.
