What if you were a Time Traveler?

I would go back to 1919 and enjoy living the roaring 20s.

I think that I would go to the time of the Salem witch trials.. my family has told me that I have ancestors that were hung in the trials.. if I could bring with me what I know now maybe I could of changed something about it.

I would only go back as an observer. I don't believe that going back would fix anything. I've had conversations about this sort of thing with my partner. We've both said that there are things we might want to change but, upon further retrospection, decided that our lives may have taken entirely different paths had we changed even the slightest thing, good or bad. I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall during my partner's life, especially the parts which led to him thinking he didn't deserve to be a father or grandfather, so I could see what really happened. And I might go back and watch certain events in my own past just to see it from the outside and with a clear mind. I wouldn't, however, change anything as I'm mostly happy with my life now and all of the events in the past have led to now.

1993 was a tough year for me, as I was dealing with clinical depression for the first time in my life. If I could travel back in time, I would go back to '93 and would have gotten the psychiatric treatment that I needed, instead of waiting all the way to year 2000 to get help like I did. I'm glad I got the help in 2000. But it would have been even better if I had asked for help back in '93.

I'm crazy about prehistoric times.
